Brass bed plate belonging to Coldstream Guards C.S.M Thomas James PROSSER service number 1394, who joined in 1898 first posted to Gibraltar before being sent to fight in the Boer War from 1900-02 , his Q.S.A medal having 4 clasps. WW1 sent Thomas to France as part of the B.E.F on 13.8.14 , later awarded an M.I.D and M.S.M.
