Boer War Monmouthshire Imperial Yeomanry shoulder title, or possibly a slouch hat badge. Unusual in the fact that this title is clearly a Boer war South African made sheet brass cut title with wire loop fixings. Looking at the regimental history it does show that a small amount of Monmouthshire Militia Engineers were sent to South Africa so this would make sense as to the origins of this title.  read more
